Communicating with Reporters
When speaking to the media, try to use simple, understandable terms.
Many of the words and terms that you use every day to describe your work will be unfamiliar to anyone outside of your work environment.
When you forget and use a specialized word, explain it to the reporter so they will know what you meant.
Here are some examples. Can you think of others?
